Meet the Trainer

My name is Paul Seaman, and officetrain.co.uk is my website, detailing the training services I can offer to companies in the South East and London.

There is a detailed copy of my CV below.

I began training whilst working at the BBC as a Studio Manager in Network Radio.  I resigned in August 1998 to concentrate on PC training, and joined Specialist Computer Education (SCE) in London.

Here I gained experience in classroom training and also providing 1:1 coaching for individuals.  Our clients included blue chip companies such as Barclays Bank, the Health and Safety Executive and Consignia.  I have trained delegates at all levels within companies, from senior executives down.

In March 2001, I resigned from SCE and started working as a freelance trainer, based in Lewes in East Sussex.

My priorities in training are to:

  • make courses as active as possible, with plenty of hands on exercises to practice new techniques

  • show the relevance and usefulness of course material to delegates, by discussing real world applications for what they are learning

Current clients include local authorities, London museums and several companies.
